What You'll Do
- Lead, mentor, and support your management team, ensuring the successful delivery of customs brokerage services within your region
- Manage overall regional goals, including profit and loss outcomes, and ensure operational efficiency by monitoring daily, weekly, and monthly reports
- Foster business development by networking and promoting customs brokerage, consulting, warehousing, and freight forwarding services
- Analyze performance indicators and implement procedures to enhance efficiencies
- Oversee recruitment, orientation, and performance reviews for your team, setting goals and fostering a high level of morale
- Ensure compliance with company policies and resolve disputes or complaints when necessary
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align regional strategies with company objectives and contribute to corporate projects
What You'll Bring
- 10+ years of senior supervisory/management experience in the customs brokerage industry
- Professional designations such as CCS, CTCS, or other relevant industry qualifications
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to mentor staff and influence through cultural change
- Deep knowledge of customs brokerage procedures and processes
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with e-commerce/electronic integration
- Ability to analyze and interpret key performance indicators, with a focus on driving profitability
