What You'll Do
- Resolve IT-related issues, including password resets, software troubleshooting, and hardware repairs
- Provide one-on-one support to users via phone, email, and in person
- Conduct on-site repairs of PCs, printers, and other peripherals
- Troubleshoot network issues and assist with installing network components like switches, cabling, and interface cards
- Participate in system access changes for new and transitioning employees
- Log and prioritize support tickets to ensure timely resolutions
- Identify trends in IT issues and proactively address them
- Conduct training for end users and create user-friendly materials like FAQs
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, service logs, and reports
- Ensure a professional, friendly, and solution-focused IT service experience
What You'll Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent (college or university degree preferred)
- CompTIA A+/Network+ or MCP certification is a plus
- At least 2 years of experience in IT help desk support
- Experience with Windows Server and VMWare
- Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical details in plain language
- A team-focused mindset with excellent multi-tasking and prioritization skills
- Sound judgement for escalating issues when necessary
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and travel as needed
