In this leadership role, you’ll be the driving force behind HR strategy and support across Eastern Canada regions (Ontario-East). Reporting directly to the President, you’ll work closely with regional leaders to ensure we’re building a safe, compliant, and supportive workplace. What You'll Do

  • Partner with leaders to drive workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and retention.
  • Lead employee relations, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Interpret and apply Canadian employment legislation to ensure compliance.
  • Provide guidance and oversight on Occupational Health and Safety programs, ensuring safe and compliant workplaces.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures to reflect evolving business needs.
  • Oversee payroll adjustments, benefits administration, and WCB reporting
    Lead new hire orientations, performance reviews, and employee development initiatives.
    Monitor HR metrics and business unit reporting, providing insights to leadership
  • Build strong, constructive relationships with employees, peers, and leaders to foster a positive workplace culture.

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, ideally in a regional or multi-location role.
  • Solid knowledge of Canadian employment legislation and Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
  • Proven ability in employee relations, policy development, and performance management.
  • Experience supporting leaders in coaching, succession planning, and team development.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage sensitive situations with discretion and fairness.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
    Comfort with HR systems and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Willingness to travel between regional locations as needed.
