What You'll Do

  • Assist the Branch Manager in the daily management of branch operations
  • Plan and delegate daily and weekly workloads to meet operational goals
  • Supervise and support branch employees, ensuring high levels of productivity and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure that all international shipments comply with legal and customs regulations
  • Maintain accurate documentation and track branch performance metrics
  • Communicate effectively with carriers, clients, customs, and staff to ensure timelines are met
  • Train and mentor employees on new processes and procedures
  • Perform post-entry work such as USMCA compliance and HTSUS verification
  • Handle account setups, credits, re-bills, and classification of goods according to the US HTS
  • Provide after-hours assistance to staff and clients as needed
  • Maintain a safe, organized workspace in accordance with company policies

What You'll Bring

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • 5+ years of experience in customs brokerage or logistics (preferred)
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, delegate effectively, and work under pressure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software
  • A strong work ethic and positive attitude, with the ability to lead by example
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced work environment
