What You'll Do
- Manage a portfolio of client accounts to support timely collection of outstanding invoices
- Follow up with clients on balances, payment status, and remittances
- Process payments and resolve discrepancies such as overpayments, short payments, and unapplied cash
- Perform account reconciliations to maintain accurate aging and reporting
- Support credit reviews, onboarding of new clients, and credit limit assessments
- Maintain accurate records within internal systems and ensure clean, reliable data
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing or account issues
- Monitor accounts in collections and escalate complex matters when needed
- Contribute to reporting and continuous improvement of processes and audit trails
What You'll Bring
- 1–3 years of experience in credit, collections, accounts receivable, or financial analysis
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or Business is an asset
- Strong Excel skills, including working with large datasets (Power Query is a plus)
- Analytical thinking with the ability to identify discrepancies and risk indicators
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Clear communication skills for working with clients and internal teams
- Experience with ERP or financial systems (e.g., CargoWise, TruckMate) is an asset
- A proactive mindset with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement
